Was successful in having a Court declare that the breathalyzer machine used in Ontario in Impared Driving cases, was in fact, not an approved machine.
Successfully conducted numerous defences involving marijuana grow houses, trafficking in marijuana, cocaine and heroin.
Conducted the first trial in Ontario involving the drug Doda.
Obtained his B.A. from Concordia University in 1977, and his L.L.B. from the University of New Brunswick in 1981. Articled at Danson and Zucker from 1981 to 1982, before being called to the Ontario bar in 1983.
Over 29 years of experience in criminal, civil, immigration and family law.
Over the last 18 years practice has been devoted almost exclusively to the area of criminal law.
Has been a member of the Barry Fox & Associates Team since 2000.
Tina Kaye was called to the Ontario Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor in January 2012.
Tina was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2007 with an Honours degree in Legal Studies. She then went on to earn her law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of law in Detroit, Michigan. While at Detroit Mercy, Tina was the assistant director of external competitions on the Moot Court Board of Advocates. She competed in several nationally known Moot Court Advocacy tournaments such as the Chicago Bar competition. Also while in law school, Tina worked for the Honorable Judge David Allen at the Third Circuit Court in Wayne County, Michigan.
Upon graduating from the University of Detroit Mercy, Tina was called to the New York State bar in 2010. She is currently licensed to practice law in New York and in good standing.
After being called to the bar in New York, Tina came back to Toronto and obtained accreditation to practice law in Ontario. She subsequently passed the Ontario bar in 2011, and was called to the bar in January 2012. She has been working for Barry Fox and Associates since 2010.
